Cooling Fans and Industrial Cooling Impellers

Cooling fans provide forced ventilation and heat removal for motors, transformers, compressors, VFD cabinets, cooling towers and heat exchangers. SINDFAN supplies axial impellers and fan assemblies for cooling duty from Ø250mm to Ø1800mm, selected to suit the available space, air volume and permissible temperature rise.

Blade material follows the duty: GRP or nylon 66 for clean ambient air; cast aluminium LM6 / A356 where temperatures are higher (motors, drying equipment); anti-static GRN-ATI or stainless steel where corrosion or explosive atmospheres apply. Impellers are dynamically balanced individually so long-run vibration stays within limits.

Figures above are our standard ranges; the actual supply is per the agreed technical specification. Impeller performance curves describe the bare impeller under standard inlet conditions. Once installed, performance is affected by casing clearance, tip clearance, inlet straightening and guide vanes; tested as a complete fan to GB/T 1236 / AMCA 210 the result typically differs by 2-5%. Site measurement governs and no complete-fan performance warranty is implied.

Selection notes

  • Cooling duty is usually specified as static pressure (internal equipment resistance) while catalogues quote total pressure - align the basis before selecting.
  • Where space is tight, a larger diameter at lower speed is quieter and more efficient than a small high-speed impeller.
  • Do not use standard plastic or nylon blades above roughly 70°C - specify cast aluminium or high-temperature nylon.
  • For a replacement impeller, confirm bore diameter, keyway and tip clearance, or send us the old part and we will measure it.

FAQ

Do you supply the impeller alone or the complete fan?

Both. We can supply the impeller only, or a complete assembly with motor and guard, depending on your requirement.

Can you build to my mounting dimensions?

Yes. Supply the bore diameter, keyway size, impeller outside diameter and tip clearance requirement. Sending an old part for measurement is the safest route.

What balancing grade do you achieve?

ISO 1940-1 G6.3 as standard, G4.0 for high-speed or precision duty - please specify on the order.
